This policy explains what personal data BeitCrest collects when you use beitcrest.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It is written to meet Lebanese Law No. 81/2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data.
What we collect
When you order: your name, delivery address, governorate, phone number and email address; what you ordered and what you paid; and the delivery outcome.
When you contact us: whatever you choose to tell us, and the message itself.
Automatically: basic technical data your browser sends — IP address, browser type, pages viewed — and the cookies described in our Cookie Notice.
We do not collect card details, because we do not take card payments. We do not ask for identity documents.
Why we use it
To take and deliver your order; to contact you about that order; to handle cancellations and refunds; to keep accounting records as the law requires; and to answer your questions. We use it for marketing only if you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
Our delivery courier receives your name, address and phone number, because they cannot deliver without them. Our hosting provider stores the data on our behalf. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Your data is stored outside Lebanon
This website and its database are hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. on servers located outside Lebanon. This means your personal data is transferred out of the country. By placing an order you consent to that transfer. If you want to know which data centre holds your data, email sales@beitcrest.com and we will tell you.
How long we keep it
Order and accounting records: as long as Lebanese tax and commercial law requires. Contact messages: two years. Technical logs: up to twelve months. After that we delete or anonymise.
Your rights
You may ask us to: show you the data we hold about you; correct it if it is wrong; delete it, where we are not required to keep it; give you a copy in a portable format; or stop using it for marketing. Write to sales@beitcrest.com and we will answer within 30 days.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Administrative access is protected by strong passwords and limited to the people who need it. If a breach occurs that puts your data at risk, we will notify you and the competent authority.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
